These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and BackifyKit ("BackifyKit," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing, purchasing, or using a BackifyKit website or browser extension (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What BackifyKit provides
BackifyKit provides browser extensions that help users collect and export publicly available information from supported social media pages. Available export formats may include CSV and XLSX/Excel, as described on each product site.
The Service is delivered digitally. Access to free features is available after installation; paid features are activated after a successful checkout. No physical product is shipped.
2. Independent service
BackifyKit is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by X, Instagram, Meta, or any other supported platform. Platform names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to purchase a subscription. You are responsible for activity associated with your browser-extension account and for keeping your device and account access secure. You must provide accurate purchase and contact information.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful and authorized purposes. You agree not to:
- export or use information when you do not have a lawful basis or authorization to do so;
- violate privacy, data protection, intellectual-property, anti-spam, or other applicable laws;
- use exported information for harassment, discrimination, fraud, surveillance, or other harmful activity;
- circumvent platform access controls, rate limits, security measures, or technical restrictions;
- interfere with the Service, distribute malware, reverse engineer the Service except where law permits, or resell access without written permission; or
- use the Service in a way that violates the terms or policies of a supported platform.
You are responsible for deciding whether and how you may lawfully collect, store, and use exported information. The fact that information is publicly visible does not necessarily remove legal or contractual restrictions on its use.
5. Subscriptions, prices, and payment
Paid plans may be offered monthly, quarterly, or yearly. The product, billing interval, price, and currency shown at checkout apply to your purchase. Applicable taxes may be added. By starting a subscription, you authorize the payment provider to charge the displayed amount at the beginning of each billing period until cancellation.
Subscriptions automatically renew for the same billing interval unless canceled before the next renewal date. You can manage or cancel through the subscription page in the relevant extension or by contacting support@backifykit.com. Unless stated otherwise at cancellation, access continues until the end of the current paid period. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not itself refund an earlier charge.
Checkout and card processing are provided by the payment provider identified at checkout, currently Stripe. BackifyKit does not receive or store your full card number. Your use of the payment provider may also be governed by its terms and privacy policy.
6. Refunds
Purchases are covered by our published 7-day money-back policy, subject to its conditions and any additional rights required by law. Cancellation and refund requests are separate actions. Read the full Refund Policy before purchasing.
7. Service changes and availability
Social platforms can change their websites, policies, and technical interfaces without notice. These changes may temporarily or permanently affect a tool. We may update, add, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, legal compliance, or compatibility. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every public record will be detected or exported.
8. Export accuracy and responsibility
Export files are generated from information available to the extension at the time of use. Results may be incomplete, duplicated, outdated, or affected by platform display limits. You should review and securely store your files. BackifyKit is not responsible for how you use, share, or protect an exported file after it is downloaded.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Ownership and license
BackifyKit and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own lawful purposes. These Terms do not give us ownership of files you create with the Service.
11. Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for users or third parties, failed to pay, or used the Service unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limitations.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BackifyKit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised version with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
